Still waiting for the locusts by Diane Wild | Jan 6, 2007 | It's All About Me | 5 comments I can’t believe this. It’s not possible for a highrise to blow over, is it? I swear I can feel my building move. I think we have angered the weather gods here in Vancouver. This sucks. What are you Left Coasters getting me into here? Make an offering to the hippie god! Make it stop! Reply Diane Kristine on January 6, 2007 at 10:56 am And the power went out less than 5 minutes after I posted this. It’s back now. The rain and wind washed away yesterday morning’s snow. That’s a good thing, right? But just for you, I will make an offering to the hippie god. Because, you know, it’s all fine for me to fear my building’s blowing over, and take the bus to work because I’m afraid of driving in the snow, but I wouldn’t want you to experience discomfort of any kind when you get here.
