Will read it later (dinner’s first) but at least they nominated Hugh Laurie this year!
(probably not wanting to repeat the “angry mob of upset people” from last year?)
But I’m missing Lawrence Kaplow in the Writer’s nominees list.
Do you think it’s too late to start writing angry letters/ send out candy bars or nuts/ setup a ferris wheel … *wide grin* ?
Ha – how about Vicodin tablets? You arrange the campaign, I’ll write something to mock you 😉
When you read it, you’ll see I share your disappointment about Kaplow. The episode they submitted that got them the Outstanding Drama nomination was Half-Wit, which he wrote. Last year, House got the nomination after submitting Autopsy, which he wrote. And yet, no nomination for him. Sigh.
Oooh! Vicodin!
Now that would work…:)
Except maybe for all my parcels getting snatched and taken hostage by customs because it’s probably not that legal to ship prescription drugs.
And, grin, you were missing Kaplow as well!
And also grin on the David Morse part, I read in the Yahoo group he was nominated and replied with:
They’ve got a category for most hated character now as well?? But, considering, one has to be pretty good to make everyone hate the character you’re playing, so.. 🙂
I think every show that I watch and that I think is great has gotten some kind of (obscure) Emmy nomination, which is better than not being on any Emmy list I guess. Although I haven’t spotted Criminal Minds yet, they had some really great smart episodes this season.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the category for TV intro’s, and Dexter there. Hope it wins. For the Pilot you see it and thing “just another intro”, but after you’ve seen the pilot it REALLY creeps you out.
Have to admit I only watch the recorded version Emmy’s (don’t even know if it airs here, and don’t really care either) so I can fast forward through the boring parts.
Like you can read a book you don’t like much really fast by skipping a few pages and still getting the main story 😉
Now, off to google to see if I can find the title of the song no one seems to know. (aargh!)
